I was taking a guided walking tour round Eton for a school tour group this week. As we were passing Tom Brown’s the tailors we decided to stop by so they could get a look at the new town crier’s costume.  After lots of hard work designing and tailoring my livery it was really good to hear loads of positive comments from the group. They also wrote me a lovely email of thanks for the tour.

“Dear Chris, Thank you very much for the guided tour you gave us of Windsor on Monday of this week. I do hope your more onerous commitments go well over the forthcoming days and that you enjoy wearing your beautiful new suit!  The girls thoroughly enjoyed the day and were delighted to meet a real town crier, so thanks again for looking after us so well.”
