In February 2026 I spent a fun day with eight other criers and a guy called ‘Big Zuu’; a well known rapper, foodie and tv presenter who joined us criers at Shoreditch Town Hall for a bit of on the job training.
We shouty folk are not known for using the London street slang that a lot of younger folks speak so Big Zuu was there to explain the finer points of the use of ‘Wagwan’, ‘Cuzzy’ and ‘My G’ to us before we hit the capital’s streets for a lunchtime cry.
It was all in aid of Innocent Drinks who are promoting the importance of starting the day with fruit and veg. Recent research has shown that younger folks are not getting anywhere near their recommended five a day and so we were called in to help promote the healthy start message.
Big Zuu was great fun to work with and we all had a blast. The range of innocent drinks that we got the opportunity to taste were delicious too. All in all a great day out.
