I was asked to visit the 6th Windsor cub pack this week and received a very warm and very loud welcome. The boys and girls listened attentively to my potted history of town crying and then joined in enthusiastically as we ran a competition to see if any of them would make a good town crier.

Rather worryingly, it seemed to me that pretty much all of them would do the job as we’ll, if not better than I can.

Thanks to the leaders and kids for asking such excellent questions and making my short visit such fun.
